Event Options
Virtual and Hybrid Event ExperienceIn a world where the remote workforce is becoming “the new norm”for many corporations, Cheeriodicals offers virtual and hybrid eventoptions that are engaging for employees, regardless of where theyare located. Supplies are shipped directly to the homes of yourparticipants, and are packed during an hour-long assembly event. Completed Cheeriodicals packages are then shipped directly to thebenefitting hospital or charity of your choice. In-Person Event ExperienceOur most popular event choice! Cheeriodicals offers hour-long eventexperiences for groups of 20 - 1,500+ participants. In-person experiencesinclude an inspirational presentation, guest speaker, assembly event, eventphotos, and additional interactive engagement opportunities. The event isdesigned with teamwork in mind, and includes a large group photo. Anopportunity for a portion of your team to personally deliver the Cheeriodicalsto the hospital/charity of your choice is the grand finale!Direct Ship OptionDo you want to make an impact in your community - but your team is toobusy to gather together right now? Cheeriodicals will pack your donation in-house and ship it directly to a hospital or charity of your choice with brandingand messaging from your team.
Our CheeriodicalsOur Cheeriodicals are designed with patients and families in mind. We work with Child Life staff, VA Medical Clinics,and other specialists to carefully tailor each Cheeriodical to best suit the needs of the hospitalized patient orrecipient that will be receiving the care package. Each Cheeriodical contains items that help bring comfort to thepatient, as well as entertainment items to help pass the time during treatments or their hospital stay. The goal isto lift the spirits of those facing challenging situations and to remind them that the community cares about them.Along with packing the Cheeriodicals, members of your team add a personal touch of magic to each box or bag byincluding a handwritten note with words of encouragement to the recipients. Starting with our original “Children’s Cheeriodical”, we have since expanded to offer seven staple give-back optionsto choose from, with more on the horizon.
Children’s CheeriodicalsOur children's Cheeriodical is the first option we started with 13 yearsago! Since then, we’ve worked with hospitals across the country toperfect the contents to provide hours of joy and entertainment forhospitalized children. These boxes can also be tailored to providecomfort and care for NICU babies and their mothers. Each Cheeriodical, depending on the age of the child, is packed full ofactivity books, art supplies, puzzles, fidget toys, games, and aCheeriodicals stuffed frog (our mascot). Optional branding: We’ll includeyour corporate branding on the gift card and the notecard included witheach box.
Veterans’ Cheeriodicals“Honoring Those Who Have Served". Your team will never forget theexperience of personally packing duffel bags filled with patriotic itemsfor our country’s military heroes! Each patriotic duffel includes a warm blanket, non-slip hospital socks, anembossed beverage tumbler, entertainment items to help them passthe time in the hospital, and a bag of convenience items to use whenthey return home. Cheeriodicals for Oncology Patients Oncology patients oftentimes endure long, harsh treatment sessions.Our Oncology Cheeriodicals are crafted to help make their therapy andrecovery time a little easier. These kits are great for children and adultsalike who are battling cancer and undergoing recovery sessions. Oncology kits can be packed in either boxes or bags and includecomfort items such as an eye mask, a blanket, and non-slip socks. Wealso include entertainment items to help pass the time during theirtreatments (activity books, adult coloring book, and fidget items). Ronald McDonald House CheeriodicalsWe can’t rave enough about the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) charity’samazing vision of providing accommodations so families can remaintogether while a child is receiving medical care at a nearby children’shospital. Our Cheeriodicals help make their stay a little easier! This Cheeriodical contains items for the parents and well-child siblingsstaying at the Ronald McDonald House. The cheerful green tote providesa useful bag to carry items back and forth to the hospital. Each totecontains a beverage tumbler with comforting teas and honey, a cozyblanket, hospital socks, and entertainment items for the whole family.Optional branding: We’ll include your corporate branding on the bag tagand notecard included with each Cheeriodical.
Dialysis/Home Infusion CheeriodicalsHome infusion patients and dialysis patients oftentimes sit through longand grueling treatment sessions for hours at a time. A Cheeriodicalscare bag is the perfect way for your team to show support to thesepatients and help bring comfort during their treatment sessions. Each bag includes comfort items such as an eye mask, a blanket, andear plugs. We also include entertainment items to help pass the timeduring their treatments (activity books, an adult coloring book, andfidget items). Hospital Hero CheeriodicalsWe can’t say “thank you” enough to all the frontline hospital heroes whoworked tirelessly through the pandemic. Even though the pandemic hassubsided, it opened our eyes as a nation to the long and selfless hourshospital staff put in as they continue to provide care for patients in a timeof need. A Cheeriodicals delivery to hospital workers is a great way foryour team to thank them for all that they do.Each Hospital Hero bag includes items to make their hospital shift a littleeasier (healthy snacks, a beverage tumbler, lip balm, dry erase markers,pens, gum) as well as items to help them relax at home after their shift(Epsom salt to soak tired feet, tea and honey, and an adult coloring bookwith colored pencils). Back-to-School Backpacks Our Back-to-School Backpacks are an amazing way for your team to makea difference for students at an under-resourced school. Hospital and Charity Delivery The magic of delivering a Cheeriodical into the hands of a child or hospitalizedpatient is an experience your employees will never forget!Our team oversees all of the logistics for your Cheeriodicals donation,including the coordination and transportation of the Cheeriodicals to thehospital/charity. We welcome a small group of representatives from yourteam to personally deliver the Cheeriodicals to the hospital/charity. Thedelivery may (when circumstances allow) include photo opportunities as wellas patient interaction.
