This week your dealership (along with over 130 others) will pack a total of2,400 Pet Adoption Kits benefiting more than 60 humane shelters across theUnited States! These Pet Adoption Kits will provide many of the supplies anew pet owner needs to make their new furry friend feel at home!BEFORE YOU BEGIN:1. You will need a large, clean work area for this activity. Please remove allpersonal items.2. It is extremely important that you do NOT add anything to the PetAdoption Kit other than what is provided to you in the plastic supply bag.This is for the safety of the pet.
01: ORGANIZE YOUR SUPPLIESOrganize your supplies on the table. Remove tissuepaper/silica gel packs (if any) from inside the tote bag.Please do not start adding items to the bag until Step 03!02: BLANKETRoll up the fleece dog blanketUsing the multi-color paper ribbon,secure the rolled up blanket with thesmall white circular sticker providedin your instruction pack03: FILLING THE BAGAttach the collapsable water bowl tothe loop on the front of the bagAdd Modern Dog magazineAdd blanket with multi-color paperribbonStarting with the larger items, addall remaining pet supplies04: NOTE CARDLocate the note card andwrite an encouragingmessage to the new petowner. Add the note cardto the tote bag. Weprovided sample language(to the right), but feel freeto get creative with yourmessage!
05: BAG TAGLocate the plastic bag tag, the“Happy Gotcha Day” label, and“The World Needs to Meet YourNew Best Friend” labelApply a label to each side ofthe plastic bag tagInsert the clear circular loopinto the slot on the plastic bagtag. Then bring one side of theloop through the other and pull.In the same manner, attach thetag to the front zipper on thefront pouch of the tote bag.06: TAKE PICTURESWe are creating a compilation video for your nationwideevent. Please take a photo or video of you/your team with thecompleted Pet Adoption Kits and email it tophotos@cheeriodicals.com. Be sure to include yourdealership name and location when submitting yourphotos/videos. Have fun with your photos & videos and getcreative!07: PACKING UPFor easier storage, put the completed Pet Adoption Kit back intothe same brown shipping box your supplies arrived in.
